Pumpkin Sail Food Donations
This October, Clearwater will revisit the sloop’s historical role as a cargo vessel, visiting the waterfronts up and down theHudson River during Pumpkin Sail to deliver not only music and goodwill, but also to deliver fooddonations. The public is invited to bring non-perishable food items to the Pumpkin Sail events to be delivered at the next port of call to the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. Many rivertowns have been affected by the floodwaters of Hurricane Irene, which impacted many individuals who would now benefit from receiving grocery items, andthe sense of community this food drive will provide.
