Charter America’s environmental flagship for your next special event. Sails on the Clearwater are available for private parties including weddings, birthdays, and other gatherings. Our Hudson River charter sails can be customized to help you create a special event that energizes and re-connects your group while providing your participants with an unforgettable, hands-on experience of the Hudson River. Each sail can accommodate up to 45 guests.

We’re streamlining our booking process this year, which we hope will improve user experience. Booking a sail will still be first come, first served.

  1. Click Here to go to our Fareharbor calendar, where you’ll see available slots for Charter Reservations. We’re listening, and you will be able to see what area we’ll be sailing out of for each slot!
  2. Select which slot you would like to reserve and fill out all required information! You will be asked to provide your credit card information, but your card will not be charged at this point in the booking process.
  3. Look for a confirmation email in your inbox. This email will provide you with all of the information for your sail, as well as information about cost, payment, COVID-19, and cancellation policy.
  4. We will follow up with your reservation request via email with a contract to sign and return to us with a 10% non-refundable deposit. The signed contract and deposit are due 1 week after receipt.
  5. The balance of your payment is due 4 weeks (20 business days) before your program date or you will forfeit your reservation.

Don’t see a time slot that works for your group?

Fill out our standard inquiry form available to go through the traditional reservation process. Please only fill this out if you do not find a time slot that works for your group (e.g. if you would like to book a charter sail on a weekday in April-June or September-October)! We will be prioritizing groups that reserve slots through FareHarbor and will not be able to guarantee you a slot that works with the rest of the sloop’s schedule.

We offer different types of charter sails for the following prices:

  • Corporate Charter: $4,500
  • Private Group Charter: $3,500
  • Sloop Club Charter: $2,500

*Transportation costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the group.*
