BEACON, NY- Clearwater announces that its new Fall Sail Schedule is available on the organization’s website, www.Clearwater.org, for ticket purchase and the booking of chartered sails on the iconic 106-foot sloop. The 18th Century replica vessel can be chartered for education group sails, family parties, weddings, corporate group sails and all sorts of other events for an unforgettable and unique experience.
Tickets for summer sails on the renowned ship – including for “themed” sails, such as an August 1 trip from Beacon Harbor to Pollepel Island after dark to view the illuminated “Constellation” Art Work at Bannerman Castle – continue to be available. Tickets can be purchased via the website or by calling Clearwater’s sail coordinator, Kelley Howard, (845) 265-8080 x7101.
The new Fall Schedule provides dates, times and locales where the sloop Clearwater is available for three-hour public sails through October 4. Fall, when the leaves are changing from green to copper and the air is cool and crisp, is always an ideal time to sail on the Hudson River. The Clearwater’s sailing season ordinarily runs through the end of October. This year, as work begins on the final phase of an extensive restoration project, it will end a few weeks early.
Groups are invited to ensure the best dates and times for their events by contacting Clearwater now during “Early Bird” registration.
