Clearwater’s 2014 Great Hudson River Revival, or Clearwater Festival, the country’s oldest music and environmental festival and recognized as one of “The Best Summer Music Festival Getaways” by Outside Magazine, will take place June 21 and 22, at Croton Point Park, Croton-On-Hudson, NY, and the weekend after Father’s Day.
Early Bird Tickets for the Clearwater Festival are now on sale and can be purchased by calling (877) 435-9849, or at www.ClearwaterFestival.org. The Clearwater Festival is family-friendly, and, as always, kids 12 and under get in for free.
This year, the Clearwater Festival is offering lower ticket prices and services fees to encourage even more families from the Hudson Valley Region to attend and enjoy the beauty of Croton Point Park, hear great music, celebrate the Hudson River and take part in the organization’s commitment to preserve and protect it, as well its mission to inspire, educate, and activate the next generation of environmental leaders.
Over the Festival weekend, a diverse range of world-class musicians will appear on 7 solar and bio-diesel powered stages. The 2014 artists will be rolled out on the Clearwater Festival Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/ClearwaterFestival over the next few weeks.
For Festival-goers, Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival is a wonderful musical and environmental event. But for the Festival volunteers, it’s so much more! The public is invited to volunteer for the Festival and join the warm, lively community that puts on every aspect of the weekend. Those interested in “Volunteering for the River” at the Clearwater Festival can apply online at www.ClearwaterFestival.org/volunteers.
The Clearwater Festival is wheelchair accessible and most stage programming is staffed with American Sign Language Interpreters.
Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival is produced by the nonprofit, member-supported, environmental organization Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc. All proceeds go directly to support Clearwater’s environmental research, education and advocacy efforts to help preserve and protect the Hudson River and its tributaries, as well as communities in the Hudson River Valley.
