Description
In June 2020, Tall Ships America published its commitment to solidarity with the people and the organizations that stand for equality and social justice. We committed to contributing to a necessary and long overdue sea change and established a working committee focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The DEI Committee informed our commitment to being an anti-racist organization and is hard at work identifying ways in which we can create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive community of tall ships and sail training organizations. In this session hear directly from the DEI Committee about their plans and progress, and respond to their invitation to join Tall Ships America in the work.
