Femme/non-binary fishing event – This time, BPCA and the Lower East Side Ecology Center are partnering with the NYSDEC to host a fun and educational fishing day in beautiful Prospect Park. Please feel free to sign up and join us, or to pass along to folks you think might enjoy this opportunity.
Unlike our first two trips, this one will include formal training on rods/reels, so we encourage beginners to dip a toe into the world of catch-and-release fishing in a safe space geared exclusively to women or non-gender conforming anglers.

Feel free to forward this information to those in your network, being mindful of the demographic: women/femme, non-binary only. Please respect that there are many opportunities for cis-gendered/cis-presenting men to learn to fish, and this is an effort to reach those often excluded from the sport! If you don’t identify as such, you can support our work by forwarding this invitation to someone you know!
