Climate Justice Workshop

The recent UN International Panel on Climate Change issued what has been called a Code Red for humanity. It documents how climate damage is accelerating faster than predicted and how we have very little time to act if we want to avoid a climate catastrophe. Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) are hit hardest, and in many cases are leading the struggle to save Mother Earth.

Please join us for some learning and to find out how you can make a difference!

Topics include:

Indigenous Climate Justice Issues – Speakers are members of the Ramapough Munsee Lunaape Nation:

Chief Vincent Mann of the Ramapough Turtle Clan

Keshia DeFreece Lawrence

Steven Smith (Owl), Esq.

Climate Justice Implications of the proposed Danskammer Project in Newburgh, New York:

Mark Sanchez Potter
