Make Your Voice Heard on Indian Point License Transfer:
Indian Point’s final reactor will be shutting down in April 2021. With its closure, the plant will begin the decommissioning phase. The current owner, Entergy, is planning to sell the license so another company can perform the decommissioning. At the moment, that company is Holtec International. Clearwater and community members oppose the sale of Indian Point to Holtec because of their long-standing history of serious malfeasance. More on that can be found here.
