This autumn Clearwater is hosting two education sails for homeschool students and families! Experience our Sailing Classroom with fellow homeschool learners – experience the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about the Hudson from the deck of a Hudson River Sloop. While aboard, students explore the river’s natural wonders and cultural significance through hands-on education. Students will work together to raise the sloop’s 3,000lb mainsail, learn about the estuary, and engage in small group, inquiry-based learning stations.
Tickets are available at $35 per person, with discounts available for families of 3 or more – parents are welcome, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. If your child is under 8 years old, please include a note when registering.
