A few songs written by Pete Seeger are known by many: If Had A Hammer and Turn, Turn Turn, e.g. Many know songs that he introduced to America, such as This Land Is Your Land and Guantanama. But there are hundreds of Pete Seeger songs known by few, including many gems just waiting for their turn to become famous. This special evening will be devoted to helping some of them find a wider audience.
The show features a group of wonderful musicians, spanning a wide range of ages, and all eager to share their renditions of lesser known Pete Seeger songs: Bill and Livia Vanaver, Kristen Graves, Hope Machine, Aurora Barnes, Rick and Donna Nestler, David Bernz, and Jacob Bernz. The program is being crafted by Pete’s longtime friend and collaborator, David Bernz.
