See the beauty of the Hudson River from the decks of the sloop Clearwater. Disembark just in time for the start of Beacon’s Strawberry Festival at Riverfront Park.
Beacon Sloop Club Strawberry Festival, Riverfront Park, Beacon, NY: NOON – 5:00PM
Featuring fresh strawberry shortcake, with local berries, real whipped cream, and warm homemade biscuits baked on premise. The sloop Clearwater will be at the dock welcoming folks aboard for deck tours. Music by Dan Einbender, Jim Connor, April Mae & the June Bugs, Judith Tullock Band, Rick Nestler & the Dirty Stay Out Skifflers, Mighty Girl, Driscoll & Smith at the main stage. The childrens’ stage will feature Hudson River Lore with Jonathan Kruk, storyteller, Bindlestick Bill, Lydia Adams Davis, Sarah Underhill, & The Young Kangaroo Republic. Environmental displays, kids activities and games, lots of food and craft vendors.
