Dan Einbender is half of Double-D Productions. He began working for Clearwater back in 1980 as the sloop’s cook and then as an on-board educator and has been working for Clearwater in some fashion ever since. He’s also served as Musical Director and composer for the Arm of the Sea Puppet Theatre, (his recycling anthem "It Really Isn't Garbage Till You Throw it Away" was written for an early Arm of the Sea show), and performed with Pete Seeger and the Hudson River Sloop Singers at countless concerts and events since 1979. He helped to produce the radio program "Making Waves" on WJFF, as well as several albums including "Hudson River Song Bag," "Broad Old River" and "Dinner Alone is a Bore."
